Zameriava sa na uverejňovanie príspevkov a prác venujúcich sa otázkam z oblasti trieskových a beztrieskových technológií, fyzikálnych princípov, nekonvenčných technológií, technologickosti konštrukcií nástrojov, ekonomike výrobného procesu, ekologizácii, spracovaniu odpadov. Takisto publikuje práce o strojoch, nástrojoch, prípravkoch a meracej technike pre oblasť mechanických technológií, výsledkoch výskumu vo sfére informačných technológií v technologickej oblasti. Uverejňuje práce o histórii a vývine mechanických technológií. Časopis zverejňuje príspevky v jazykoch: slovenskom, českom, poľskom, ruskom, anglickom a nemeckom.

    The image of the company is a very important tool in the company for proper functioning and representation even outside its gates. Nowadays, it is an indispensable factor. Businesses are "competing" with each other, and customers are not only looking at how the company produces, but also how it presents itself, how it looks and advertises. The article describes proposals for improving the image of the company developed on the basis of the analysis of the current situation and the evaluation of a questionnaire survey in the company.

    Ergonomics in extended reality: addressing challenges and enhancing user experience

    Extended Reality (XR) technologies, encompassing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR), are rapidly transforming various industries, offering innovative solutions for training, design, and collaboration. However, the integration of XR into work environments introduces new ergonomic challenges that must be addressed to ensure user safety, comfort, and performance. This article explores the role of ergonomics in XR, emphasizing the importance of physical, cognitive, and organizational ergonomics. It highlights the need for well-designed XR devices to minimize physical strain, the optimization of cognitive load to avoid mental fatigue, and the adaptation of organizational workflows to enhance collaboration in virtual spaces. Additionally, the article discusses the emerging issue of simulator sickness and its impact on XR applications. By increasing awareness of these ergonomic considerations, this work aims to contribute to the development of safer and more effective XR environments, ultimately enhancing user experience and productivity.

    Analysis of programs for operational and systems analysis

    This paper deals with the selection and comparison of programs that students could use when preparing semester papers in the subject of Operational and Systems Analysis. The analysis consists of a comparison of work in selected software based on selected criteria, such as the availability of programs for students, the language in which the programs are written, the time spent on preparing individual assignments and the correctness of their results. The final part evaluates the benefits of the paper and the selection of the most suitable programs for individual types of tasks.

    The paper focuses on the topic of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in logistics. It provides basic information about the given topic, which is presented in the theoretical basis. It describes the definition, history and development and objectives of logistics. It also deals with aspects of Logistics 4.0 and the definition and history of artificial intelligence. The core of the work divides individual options between logistics platforms using artificial intelligence and logistics technologies using artificial intelligence, the principle of operation of which is subsequently described. The conclusion is devoted to the evaluation of the current state of use of artificial intelligence in the logistics industry. It also contains an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned possibilities of use.

    This study aims to determine the position of workers in the design of production and logistics systems. This article deals mainly with the role of humans in production systems. The introduction of this article is dedicated to the development of ergonomics in production and logistics systems. Furthermore, this article deals with the literary research of the subject matter to find out the analysis of the current state of the issue of the solution in the world. The very core of the study is the position of a person from an ergonomic point of view in production and assembly systems and, in particular, methods of relaxation of employees in production sectors.

    A modern approach to ergonomics: the study of work and non-work activities of employees

    The purpose of the study is to determine how an employee's work and non-work activities are related. The relevance of after-work activities is covered in the introduction. The relationship between employees' work and non-work activities is illustrated in the section that follows. The last section addresses the effects of employees' unequal workloads and non-work activities as well as suggestions for personalized advice. An individual's general well-being depends on having a balanced ratio between work and non-work activities, which is why the article offers a more comprehensive answer to this issue.

    Ensuring employee well-being: a deep dive into ergonomic product testing

    The research's objective is to examine the merits and drawbacks of an ergonomic chairless chair product in a manufacturing environment. The initial section presents the product and a particular project. The subsequent section demonstrates its application in the workplace. The final part is devoted to assessing the utility of chairless chairs in a production setting. There is a need for wider adoption of this product due to its capacity to enhance ergonomic conditions and reduce work-related ailments. Additionally, the article serves as an appraisal of the product's performance in a manufacturing context, scrutinizing both its pros and cons.
