Item Využitie palív vyrobených z odpadových zdrojov uhľovodíkov v letectve(University of Žilina, 2024) Hruška, Samuel; Čerňan, JozefThe aim of the article was to outline the methods of aviation fuel production and propose the production of aviation kerosene from waste hydrocarbon sources. The article contains information about currently used aviation fuels, evaluation of the advantages and disadvantages of their use, and the status of alternative propulsion utilization in aviation with an emphasis on ecology. The focus of the article is on methods of laboratory testing of the properties and quality of aviation kerosene as the most commonly used aviation fuel, where testing methods and procedures on specific laboratory instruments are described. In the practical part of this thesis, the method of producing aviation kerosene from waste hydrocarbon sources, specifically waste motor oils and industrial emulsions, is described. The detailed procedure for fuel production is subsequently concluded with laboratory testing of basic properties and their comparison with the properties of aviation kerosene.Item Generatívny dizajn pri konštrukčnom návrhu tvarov telies čelných ozubených kolies(2023) Sivák, Samuel; Maláková, Silvia; Kepeň Harachová, DanielaA paper was prepared related to current design engineering advancements. Topological optimization and generative design were some of these advancements. The process of topology optimization was explained in the following chapters. Each step is broken down into a paragraph, where it is explained and illustrated with a picture. In a SolidWorks program, topology optimization is detailed step-by-step. The last part, which lays out the subsequent approach and other possibilities, summarizes the benefits and drawbacks of this software's approach.Item Návrh monitorovacieho zariadenia pomocou platformy arduino(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Boroš, Martin; Lettrich, ErikCar monitoring is a used way of saving company funds intended for the operation of the company's vehicle fleet, as it is possible to monitor the speed and driving position of a company car through it. There are several companies on the market providing vehicle monitoring for a flat fee. In this case, the device is still the property of a third party. As part of the scientific research activities of the Department of Safety Management, the Faculty of Safety Engineering and within the grant call of the University of Žilina, we decided to create a proposal for our own monitoring equipment. We used the Arduino platform and its components for the design itself. We implemented the design on a theoretical as well as a practical level. The theoretical level consisted in creating a graphic design of the connection and the practical level was realized by the actual connection of the system.
