On November 17th, the state began to cover the full cost of tickets for selected passenger groups, which caused a significant increase in passenger numbers from these groups. It is a European rarity. This social initiative made many people happy, but also brought a lot of displeasure. The aim of this paper is to analyse, on the basis of primary research, impacts of zero- fare transport services on the segment of students.
