The theoretical section focuses on the history and development of lighter-than-air aircraft. The next section discusses the technological challenges and regulatory requirements for transitioning from manned to unmanned lighter-than-air aircraft. In the final section, the economic efficiency and environmental impact of lighter-than-air aircraft are compared with heavier-than-air aircraft. The Skyship 600 and Cessna 208B Grand Caravan G1000 are specifically compared.
