The basis of the simulator is the software in which it works and the corresponding hardware. The main topic of the final thesis is the construction of an air traffic control simulator for the needs of the Department of Air Transport at the University of Žilina, the selection of suitable software and related hardware. The hardware was selected based on the minimum requirements set by the software manufacturer for its optimal operation. This process involved a thorough market research through online stores, with the aim of finding hardware with the best price-performance ratio, which would be able to fulfill its function even after several years of its deployment.
