The work contains other acquired knowledge that is necessary or useful in the process of creating a scenery for a flight simulator image generator. The introductory part of the work focuses on the history, development and importance of flight simulators and image generators, it points out the importance of their constant development and quality improvement. The theoretical part of the work is mainly focused on defining the basic file types, their description and information about the usage of the rendering pipeline.
