However, despite over thirty years of contemporary research, there is still no operational blended wing body airliner, suggesting the presence of multiple unresolved issues pertaining to this design. This article investigates various operational and technical aspects related to the design process of BWB aeroplanes and their influence on the resulting aerodynamic performance. The aim of this work is a multidisciplinary analysis with focus on aircraft structure, operational safety and ultimately on the inter-comparison of required and achievable flight characteristics.otheraerodynamicsblended wing bodyaircraft designefficiencyflight characteristicsPrevádzkovo-technické východiská koncepcie BWB letúnovWorking Paperhttps://doi.org/10.26552/pas.Z.2025.1.18
