Weinfortner, JakubČerňan, Jozef2025-10-162025978-80-554-2158-2https://drepo.uniza.sk/handle/hdluniza/1299The article is focused on the design and optimization of the control system of the ultralight aircraft Straton D7 “mini” with the aim of improving its flight performance during low-altitude flight. The main topics included the application of drag-inducing mechanization, the design of alternative control methods, and the use of modern composite materials in the production of control components. The theoretical part of the thesis presented an overview of aircraft control systems and analyzed individual control elements. In the practical part, a spoiler mechanism was designed, its functionality was tested, and the entire control system was adjusted. Furthermore, an alternative method of ground control using a tailwheel undercarriage was developed. The thesis also examined the possibilities of using composite materials for the production of control surfaces and Push rods, as well as the potential placement of aerodynamic trim tabs on V tail surfaces. The outcomes of the thesis represent an innovative approach to the design of the Straton D7 control system in the context of modern amateur aviation requirements.otherFlight controlsspoiler mechanismcontrol systemRealizácia a nastavenie mechanizmu riadenia pre lietadlo STRATON D7Working Paperhttps://doi.org/10.26552/pas.Z.2025.1.36
