Item Digitalization of the maintenance process for the needs of the CAO organization(University of Zilina, 2022) Mariňák, Róbert; Braciník, TomášDigitalization and automation are unstoppable processes that are linked to the present and have a significant impact on the efficiency of the work carried out in aviation or any other industry. The aim of this article is to create a digital maintenance environment for the needs of the Combined Airworthiness organisation (CAO), which is part of the Air Training and Education Centre of the University of Žilina. Such software would unify and facilitate the overall maintenance process performed by the CAO. In this article we have evaluate the requirements of the CAO organisation and the legislation in force. During the development process, we communicated extensively with both the experts and the maintenance staff for whom we were developing the program. Then, based on what we learned, we created a basic structure of the required software and hardware needed to create a digital maintenance environment and started building it. We have then described all the processes involved in the program and its components to the extent that this article can partially serve as a guide for the creation of such a program. Methods of drawing on software and hardware resources have been purposely limited in the article to free products or to those, that are commonly available in price. The work has resulted in functional software that contains all the necessary documents, job cards and forms to carry out maintenance and substantially replaces the more paper-intensive form of data entry and storage.Item Methodology of MCC training in the conditions of the air training and education centre(University of Zilina, 2021) Chodelka, Frederik; Braciník, TomášThe main goal of the paper is to create a methodology for the theoretical and practical part of the multi-crew cooperation training course, which is provided by the Air Training and Education Centre of the University of Žilina since 2007. At the same time, the purpose of the methodology will be to contribute to the quality of education, streamlining the multi-crew cooperation training course and to provide a comprehensive study material for training candidates that reflects on the changes made from 2007 to the present. The reason which stimulated the elaboration of the paper is mainly the already existing study material, published in 2007 within the publication Metodika pilotného výcviku na letovom simulátore, which has now proved to be outdated and insufficient for the needs of the training course. The training material does not reflect the legislative changes made, the modifications to the flight and navigation procedures trainer and some training elements, which are currently emphasized in the training process. The paper, the content of which is a new methodology focused exclusively on the multi-crew cooperation training course, is based on valid and effective regulations, on the airplane flight manual of Beechcraft Super King Air B200 / B200C, inspired by internal operation manuals of the airline operators, internal manuals of the Air Training and Education Centre and is also based on the Metodika pilotného výcviku na letovom simulátore. It will be possible to apply the content of the paper as an up-to-date methodology for theoretical and practical part of the multi-crew cooperation training course, which meets all the currently required criteria. At the same time, it will be possible to implement some parts of the paper into the internal manuals of the Air Training and Education Centre.Item NÁVRH MATERIÁLNEJ ČASTI V SÚLADE S LETOVOU PRÍRUČKOU A MANUÁLOM NA ÚDRŽBU LIETADIEL Z-242L(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Pancurák, Daniel; Braciník, TomášDue to modernization of aircraft fleet of Letecko vzdelávacie centrum with new planes Zlín Z-242L manufactured by Zlín Aircraft it was necessary to create new study materials for students which will be in practical flight training. These materials are necessary for theoretical preparation before student’s first flight on this type of aircraft. Since original materials supplied by manufacturer are extensive and contain information mainly for technicians and maintenance, it was necessary to create new materials, which would contain information which are most important for pilot. These materials contain most important information about structure of aircraft, systems, performance, and equipment with which is aircraft equipped. This aircraft is modernized version of its predecessor Zlín Z-142. This modernization was necessary due to new regulations and implementations in flight training and due to age of older aircrafts.Item VYPRACOVANIE TECHNOLOGICKÝCH POSTUPOV ÚDRŽBY PRE LIETADLO ZLÍN Z 242 L PRE POTREBY LVVC ŽU(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Mariňak, Róbert; Braciník, TomášAircraft maintenance is nowadays a very demanding and precise job that requires professional and qualified personnel. In order of carrying this job out efficiently, the maintenance staff needs high quality and up to date materials, to use while doing their work. The aim of this bachelor′s thesis is to create material that should guide, unify and facilitate the overall process of maintenance procedures of aircraft type Zlin Z 242 L, which recently became part of the fleet of the Aviation Training and Education Centre of the University of Žilina. In our study, we worked with official materials from ZLIN AIRCRAFT a.s. and together with legal norms and valid regulations we tried to create a basis for the design of the job cards for regular inspections. We were looking for a compromise between the standards and the specific requirements of LVVC ŽU. After a tough examination of all aspects, having an influence on the necessary technological procedures, we came to the final design of the job cards of regular inspections of type A, B and the design of job cards of special inspections. This job cards design should enable professional staff to carry out maintenance work directly and clearly and ensure that they can be checked at each stage of the inspection.
