The paper deals with the identification of differences in motivation in terms of their
gender in a selected group of employees of self-government in Slovakia, among whom the
primary research was conducted by electronic questioning. The data were processed using
a factor analysis. The aim of the paper is to find out what are the differences in motivation of
men and women and to describe these differences.
