Item NÁVRH A REALIZÁCIA PROTOTYPU VZDUCHOM POHÁŇANEJ VRTULE PRE ŠPECIÁLNE VYUŽITIE(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Frťalová, Petra; Čerňan, JozefNowadays, there is an increasing emphasis on innovation. Manufacturers are forced to constantly improve their products. Innovations take place also in aviation. Not only manufacturers but also consumers of aviation products and services accentuate the highest possible efficiency of products, both economically and ecologically. This paper provides a theoretical insight into the possible future of aviation by the development of a new type of aircraft propeller. The first part of this paper provides theoretical knowledge of propellers and lift. The second part consist of theoretical design of propeller powered by compressed air from external source. The model of such propeller is created in 3D CAD software. Very last part of this paper is the construction of such model by using a 3D printer to create the components of propeller, joining its parts into one prototype. The last part also contains the results of testing and provides ideas for further improvement.Item Possibilities of using 3D printing technology in production of aircraft components(University of Zilina, 2021) Šajbanová, Kristína; Čerňan, Jozef; Janovec, MichalThe article provides the reader with a brief overview of the technology of industrial 3D printing used in the manufacturing process of aerospace technology. It includes analyses of the position of 3D printing in the aerospace industry and the forecast of its future development based on the marketing analysis of strengths / weaknesses, opportunities and threats. Many airlines and AMOs (Approved Maintenance Organizations) rely on externally supplied spare parts delivered over long distances. The whole process is expensive and time consuming and means a lost profit for the company. The performed SWOT analysis can therefore ultimately help the AMO manager to re-evaluate their production process in the light of the current innovative and progressive technology of industrial 3D printing. The aim of this work is to point out the existence of innovative 3D printing technology in aerospace production and to emphasize its preferences compared to conventional manufacturing techniques and procedures, thus providing a final perspective on the future of the 3D printing industry and its long-term sustainability
