Item Rozbor bezpečnosti letov UAV a konspekt aktuálnych legislatívnych požiadaviek(University of Žilina, 2021) Škultéty, Filip; Kandera, Branislav; Janovec, MichalDespite the recent legislation, which has been formed in the last five years to its current form, the safety for the UAV operation is borne by the pilot, as he/she is the one who is responsible for the direction of UAV movement thus for any collision. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the safety of UAV operations outside the duties and competencies of the pilot at a distance, for example, through anti-collision systems and air traffic management systems. This article was initially focused on analysing aviation events in Slovakia associated with the operation of the UAV. Another factor that significantly affects the operation of UAVs to a large extent is the legislation itself. A special part was devoted to the legislation in terms of airspace determination, procedures and rules of operation of the UAV. From a legislative point of view, it is currently an important aspect to define the correct and reasonable level between the restrictions in order to increase the safety of operation only on an indispensable scale, not to be very restrictive to operators.Item Proposal of MCC course training manual for L410 aircraft(University of Zilina, 2021) Coufal, Bohumír; Škultéty, FilipSubject of this paper is to propose a possible and notably practically useful training manual for multicrew cooperation training directly suited for use on L-410 airplane type simulator. This paper could be used as study material at LVVC or any other organisation providing MCC training on L 410 aircraft type simulator. Whole paper is divided into three parts: introduction, core and conclusion. Introduction can be understood as a proposition of a problem and determination of paper goals. In its core part, this paper is going to explain the current state of training, legislative issues, technical solutions, analyse possibilities and practical use of this proposed manual. Lastly, there will be evaluation of thistopic in conclusion.Item Conceptual design of the training aerobatic airplane(University of Zilina, 2021) Klein, Vladimír; Škultéty, FilipPaper deals with the issue of conceptual design of a training aerobatic aircraft with a tandem arrangement of seats. The first part of the paper is devoted to the historical context of the construction and characteristics of training aerobatic aircraft. The work analyses the current state of training aerobatic aircraft together with the situation of aerobatic aviation in Slovakia. The practical part of the paper discusses the design of a training aerobatic aircraft in the software Rhinocerostogether with the determination of technical and operational parameters and analysis of aerodynamic and stress characteristicsItem Proposal of aircraft maintenance planning software for ATO(University of Zilina, 2021) Mikulec, Dominik; Škultéty, FilipThe goal of this paper is to create a proposal of aircraft maintenance planning software, which meets the requirements of approved training organization (ATO) and combined airworthiness organization which are part of the Air training and education centre (LVVC). Conducted analysis of organizations that operate in aviation including LVVC, illustrates use cases, content and processes linked with planning software. Based on the acquired knowledge the proposal of the software is created, thanks to its structure and content optimizes coordination and planning of aircraft maintenance and processing of operation data. Paper also contains an alternative to the proposed software in form of online software that can be purchased if required. The paper provides software developers overview of the required structure and functionality of the proposed software.Item Design of the reference model of the aero l-39 aircraft(University of Zilina, 2021) Staňa, Ján; Škultéty, FilipThe object of the research of the paper is to design a reference model of an unmanned aircraft according to the model of the training jet Aero L 39. The work contains an analysis of the methods, procedures and typology used in the creation of reference models. Subsequently, the design of an unmanned vehicle was created using computer modelling, which was subjected to aerodynamic simulations and strength analysis. Aerodynamic performance was investigated on the airframe of the aircraft and strength analyses were determined on specific structural elements. After successful program tests, a functional model of the aircraft was built. The prerequisite was mainly aerodynamic analyses, which should determine with sufficient accuracy the basic structure of the model's flight. The result of solving the problem is a functional model of the aircraft, which is suitable for flight tests using appropriate hardware.Item Objective evaluation of IFR training flight(University of Zilina, 2021) Mrocek, Andrej; Škultéty, FilipWe are living, working, and most importantly, flying in the 21st century, but in many areas still stick to old customs from the pre-millennial times. I have decided to attempt to improve the quality of flight instruction by implementing modern evaluation and debriefing methods to training flights performed in a flight school where I currently perform the role of a flight instructor. In my paper, I am explaining the way the training course is done in our conditions, how it is already different from other schools, what aircraft we use for training and how I evaluate the results of training flights. My research is about the effects of applying modern debriefing methods in our already modern instrument rating courses.Item Upgrade of the BITD to an online multirole simulator(University of Zilina, 2021) Özdemirci, Sahir Deniz; Škultéty, FilipThanks to the possibility of new technologies, there are several alternatives to upgrade the current hardware and software of flight simulators, such as the implementation of photorealistic scenarios, a better field of view or a realistic flight model of a selected aircraft. A part is devoted to the current technical parameters of the ELITE S612 BITD simulator. The practical part describes three options for computer software, followed by three options for replacing hardware and three options for updating the visual system.Item New regulations for UAS flights(University of Zilina, 2020) Kandera, Branislav; Škultéty, Filip; Badánik, BenediktThe paper deals with the legislation in the field of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) in the Slovak Republic. The main goal of the paper is to analyse the current legislative framework, which sets the basic rules and restrictions. The article’s contribution is a description of the latest Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947. The solution to the issue consists of an analysis of the requirements for changes in current legislation based on people’s experience from practice. The reason for the changes is to facilitate flying with UAS for all user groups, provided that safety is maintained, and risks are minimised. These new regulations are causing the most significant changes, especially for organisations that will perform aerial work with the UAS in the Specific category. These organisations need to transform their operations manuals and extend the aerial work system with a risk analysis.Item Non Directional Beacons Checking(University of Zilina, 2014) Pitor, Ján; Škultéty, Filip; Götz, KarolThis paper aims to familiarize experts from other fields with issues of flight check of Non Directional Beacon (NDB) and its assessment. The AT-940 Automatic Flight Inspection System and the aircraft PIPER SENECA are described followed by flight check specifications and procedures. Evaluated were the coverage of NDB Z, NDB ZLA located at Žilina airport and Standard Instrument Approach Procedure for runway 06. The results of evaluation are in paragraph 4. The paper is based on project “Centre of excellence for Air Transport” focused on the impact of air transport on environment photogrammetry, surveillance of electromagnetic compatibility of radio navigation aids and radio communication equipment.Item KONSPEKT AKVIZÍCIE GEOPRIESTOROVÝCH DÁT PRE VYTVORENIE 3D MODELU REFERENČNÉHO LETISKA(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Škultéty, Filip; Janovec, MichalWhen rendering large scenarios for flight simulators, we encounter similar problems as in the case of scenes for cinematography or computer games. In the case of this work, we solve the rendering of the earth's surface for any camera configuration, and we try to maximize the quality of the rendered images without a visible decrease in the rendering frequency. The article is devoted to the creation of a reference model of the Piešťany airport (LZPP) as a part of the scenery for a certified flight simulator. The presented solution maintains a stable 60 frames per second when rendering the airport surface from any distance and direction.
