Implementation of simulation into the process modeling for process verification in the field of Crisis Management provides us with an opportunity to make the preparation of a Crisis Management Plan more effective. The article presents the role of simulation in Crisis Management, the possibility of using simulations within the Crisis Management Cycle, and particularly the use of constructive simulation in the process verification of the emergency water supply. During the simulation, deficiencies in the planning processes have been identified, and possibilities of simulation tools aimed at the planning process of crisis management in the emergency water supply field have been discussed.Item Digital media airline crisis communication(University of Žilina, 2023) Máčadi, Marek; Badánik, BenediktThis article explains what social media is and how influential can social media be. Focus of this paper is on usage of digital media by airlines during times of crisis. This article explains what digital media and Twitter are, how airline use Twitter as a social media platform to communicate with its stakeholders, customers and employees during crisis and how digital media can be used by airlines to efficiently communicate with interested parties. Furthermore, examples of inadequate crisis communication made by airlines during major crisis incidents will be shown as an example of what consequences can incorrect crisis communication cause.Item Uplatnenie manažmentu rizík a krízového manažmentu v športovom podnikaní(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2022) Buganová, Katarína; Hudáková, Mária; Furiak, KristiánThis article focuses on the need to apply the principles and procedures of risk management and crisis management as tools for increasing resilience and responsiveness in the environment of sports organizations and sports entrepreneurs. In this context, risk management is seen as a prevention tool. Crisis management, on the other hand, plays the role of a means aimed at the ability to respond correctly to an incipient or ongoing crisis to minimize its negative effects. In the first part, the article points out the specifics of the environment in which sports organizations operate and in which sports entrepreneurs carry out their business activities. In the second part, the article discusses the roles of crisis management and risk management in the phase of prevention and response to crises and, above all, their specific impact on the environment of sports organizations. Based on the above, the article shows how it is appropriate to implement the described procedures and processes so that they correspond as closely as possible to the specific requirements of organizations and optimize their functioning in this environment.
