The aim of our paper is to analyse the issue of measuring of workload and subsequently carry out our own measures of pilot workload on pilots of different skill level. These measures took place in a simulator, mainly due to safety of air traffic. The chosen phase of flight had been approach and landing, which represents the most difficult phase. We had also chosen two airports, where one presents an airport known to the pilot and the other unknown. This decision relates to the opinion, that the pilot workload is significantly lower has he experience with the airporten_US
