The goal of the research was to compare the deformation properties such as absorption capacity, resistance to deformation, stiffness of high-strength steels with the properties of microalloyed steel based on the results of the tensile test and the three-point bending test. HTC 590X dual-phase steel and RAK 40/70 steel have the potential to reduce intrusion into the passenger compartment, as the maximum deformation resistance, stiffness and energy absorbed in the three-point bending test were greater compared to H220PD microalloy steel reinforcement.en_US
