    Ensuring employee well-being: a deep dive into ergonomic product testing

    The research's objective is to examine the merits and drawbacks of an ergonomic chairless chair product in a manufacturing environment. The initial section presents the product and a particular project. The subsequent section demonstrates its application in the workplace. The final part is devoted to assessing the utility of chairless chairs in a production setting. There is a need for wider adoption of this product due to its capacity to enhance ergonomic conditions and reduce work-related ailments. Additionally, the article serves as an appraisal of the product's performance in a manufacturing context, scrutinizing both its pros and cons.

    Posúdenie stability lesného kolesového traktora vybaveného hydraulickou rukou

    Wheeled forests tractors are inseparable part of a forest economy. Wheeled forests tractors serve for logging of logs in forests. Current wheeled forests tractors are usually equipped with hydraulic arms, which allow to expand the utility of such tractors. A tractor with a hydraulic arm can handle with wood logs without a need additional forest machine, which helps to reduce costs. On the other hand, it is necessary to analyse tractors abilities, which has such an additional equipment. This article is focused on assessment of stability of a heeled forest tractor, which is equipped by such a hydraulic arm. As the hydraulic arm changes the centre of gravity of an entire tractor, mainly with the load, safe operation of the tractor needs to know limit conditions of stability under the maximal load and in the given slope inclination.

    The subject of the paper is an assessment of the possible replacement of the original diesel hydrodynamic drive of the 861 series units with hydrogen fuel cell propulsion, a description of the original traction chain, the design of the new components including their spatial arrangement, mass balance and a summary of the advantages, disadvantages of the conversion, including an evaluation of the problematic nodes and solutions.

    Analýza jazdných vlastností modifikovaného vozidla a jeho komponentov v dôsledku zmeny pohonného ústrojenstva a ovplyvnenie vzájomného pôsobenia kontaktu koleso/koľajnica

    The presented article is focused on analysis of running properties of a modified railway vehicle and its components due to a change of the powertrain and influence of the mutual effects in a wheel/rail contact. The modification of a vehicle consists in a change of a standard diesel-electric powertrain by a new powertrain, which includes as a source of power the hydrogen fuel cells. This modification represents a quite significant modification of a vehicle structure, mainly a change of mass and position of centre of gravity individual articles of a vehicle. The analysis of running properties is performed by means of simulation computations in a commercial simulation software Simpack. Simulation model of a vehicle is called as a multibody model. This model consists of rigid bodies, which are connected by flexible modelling elements. Simulation analyses are performed for an original vehicle and for vehicle with hydrogen fuel cells. There are analysed cases of running on two types of tracks. There is found oud based on the obtained results, that the modified vehicle with the hydrogen cells has similar force distribution in a wheel/rail contact, however, the axle load of the modified vehicle does not meet required criteria.

    Vplyv technologických parametrov pri prievlačnom ťahaní rúr na ich výsledné vlastnosti a presnosť

    The article is focused on the implementation of experimental tests in order to monitor the impact of technological parameters during the drawing of tubes on their resulting properties and accuracy. In experimental tests, samples of seamless tubes with dimensions of Ø14, Ø16 and Ø18 were used, which were pulled by pressing to the final outer diameter of Ø12. Measurements of internal and external diameter as well as tensile tests to determine mechanical properties were carried out before and after drawing on the tubes. Experimental tests were carried out in order to optimize the drawing process to reduce the number of operations and reduce production costs.

    Specifics of assembly activities using bionics

    This paper deals with the implementation of bionic principles to manufacturing enterprises. Simultaneously indicating that bionics has a broad scope and innovations inspired by nature have application not only in various technological sectors, but also in management approaches and natural science. The core of the contribution is itself specification of assembly activities and the use of bionics principles in the assembly process.

    Simulačná analýza trakčnej/brzdnej práce a využiteľnosť trakčnej charakteristiky pri znalosti energetických parametrov trakčného pohonu koľajového vozidla

    This paper focuses on analyzing the driving characteristics of railway vehicles on selected tracks. The aim is to compare the vehicle's driving parameters when changing the propulsion system. The introductory part of the article discusses the transition from diesel to hydrogen propulsion, including a mention of modern vehicles using this type of propulsion. Furthermore, a specific railway vehicle with the potential for conversion to hydrogen propulsion is introduced. The main part of the article deals with the computational analysis, encompassing the characteristics of the necessary input parameters of the current propulsion system and the results of the vehicle's driving analysis. Subsequently, the vehicle's parameters were defined after the conversion to hydrogen propulsion, and an analysis was performed with these new parameters. The main goal was to compare the parameters of the current propulsion system with those of hydrogen propulsion on selected tracks.
