Abstract
The bachelor's thesis addresses a critical area of flight training programs that are essential in shaping the capabilities of new pilots in an era of increasing demands on pilots due to technological advances and global connectivity. The study addresses the components of flight training, from theoretical knowledge to practical flight experience, with an emphasis on the design of SPA/IR curricula adapted to the specific requirements and needs of aerotaxi operators. Through a systematic analysis and comparison of existing SPA/IR training curricula and programmes, the thesis highlights the strengths, limitations and potential developments in pilot training to meet industry requirements. The findings aim to improve the safety, efficiency and adaptability of pilots, and a transition to more specialised licensing is proposed to mitigate the risks associated with inexperienced pilots.
