Item Analýza súčasného stavu problematiky využitia manipulačných zariadení pre potreby skúšobných stavov brzdných komponentov koľajových vozidiel(University of Žilina, 2024) Molnár, Denis; Blatnický, Miroslav; Dižo, Ján; Lovska, AlyonaThe paper deals with the current state of the art of the research test stands of braking components of rail vehicles in synthesis to the need of handling equipment utilisation accompanying the research in question. The compact form of the introduced information will be the input material for the design of an original handling device, sophisticatedly designed for the needs of the test stand for rail vehicles brake components testing. The brake test stand is located at the Department of Transport and Handling Machines at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Žilina. The task of proposed handling device will be to facilitate the work of laboratory staff, increase the safety of handling and shorten the preparation time of the measurement process at brake test stand. In addition, a more detailed description of the brake test stand at the Department of Transport and Handling Machines is included in the paper.Item Aplikácia integrálnych transformácií na určenie vzťahu rozptylu morskej vlny od nadmorskej výšky hladiny mora(University of Žilina, 2024) Malacká, Zuzana; Chupáč, RadoslavThe focus of this paper is the linear problem of gravity waves on the surface of a viscous incompressible fluid with a constant finite depth. This problem arises when the free surface is in a state of rest and there is a finite perturbation and a given normal pressure on it. We resolve the time evolution of the initial surface perturbation, or the classical linear Cauchy-Poisson problem, in the presence of a uniformly vorticous shear current beneath the surface. The solution is general, including the effects of gravity, surface tension, and constant finite depth. The main goal of this paper is to study such a problem, which appears to be important and interesting from a mathematical as well as a physical point of view. The problem is solved by using the Laplace and Henkel transformations, and we get an integral solution.Item Application of high-strength steel in the Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) process(University of Žilina, 2024) Frátrik, Martin; Mičian, MilošThe work deals with the application of high-strength structural steel in the process of wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). In this work, layers are welded by the cold wire TIG method. The aim of the work is to analyse the effect of process parameters and layering on the resulting geometry and mechanical properties of the experimental welds. The results showed that the mechanical properties of the welds are dependent on the direction of loading as well as on the welding thermal cycle.Item Barkhausenov šum po dynamickom guľôčkovaní duplexnej ocele AlSi 318(University of Žilina, 2024) Mičietová, Anna; Uríček, Juraj; Čilliková, Mária; Neslušan, MiroslavThis paper deals with surface integrity and the corresponding Barkhausen noise after shot peening of duplex steel AlSi 318 under variable shot-peening conditions such as number of passes and applied air pressure. Surface state is investigated from the point of view of surface roughness and surface plastic deformation. Barkhausen noise is decreasing along with increasing surface coverage as well as increasing air pressure. The duplex matrix is considered being stable with respect of volume fraction between austenite and ferrite and the whole Barkhausen noise signal originates from ferromagnetic ferrite. Progressively developed plastic deformation increases dislocation density in the surface as a result of surface bombardment by shots which in turn shift Barkhausen envelopes into higher magnetic fields.Item Human-Centric Design: Improving Workplaces for People in Production and Logistics Systems(University of Žilina, 2024) Zuzik, Ján; Biňasová, Vladimíra; Furmannová, BeátaThis study aims to determine the position of workers in the design of production and logistics systems. This article deals mainly with the role of humans in production systems. The introduction of this article is dedicated to the development of ergonomics in production and logistics systems. Furthermore, this article deals with the literary research of the subject matter to find out the analysis of the current state of the issue of the solution in the world. The very core of the study is the position of a person from an ergonomic point of view in production and assembly systems and, in particular, methods of relaxation of employees in production sectors.Item Interpretácia nových pravidiel pre používanie požiadaviek pre charakter povrchu - profil(University of Žilina, 2024) Bronček, Jozef; Konstantová, Viera; Drbúl, MárioThe international standard STN EN ISO 21920-1 specifies the rules and methodology for marking the character of the surface profile by profile methods in the technical documentation of the product using graphic marks. The aim of the article is to familiarize the public with the content of the standard included in the Geometrical Product Specification (GPS) system. The changes in the area of default settings concern the introduction of new rules for acceptance of tolerance. The rules determine how the tolerance limits are applied to the measured values of the parameters. The introduced changes benefit the majority of users for prescribing, manufacturing and checking product requirements.Item Kinematická analýza paralelných mechanizmov pomocou Screw theory(University of Žilina, 2024) Michalková, Mária; Guldan, VladimírThe aim of this paper is to summarise the mathematical basics of the Screw theory and its application in mechanics. The paper provides methodology for finding the degrees of freedom of the effector, as well as for determining its mobility. Furthermore, we give an input-output equation for velocities for the parallel mechanism, that allows to obtain the velocities of the effector and also of the actuated kinematic couples. These algorithms are applied to a planar parallel 3-RTR mechanism where we determine the degrees of freedom and mobility of the moving platform. We determine the input-output equation for velocities, and based on this we investigate the singularities of the moving platform.Item Klinové zváranie rúrok(University of Žilina, 2024) Moravec, JánThe article points out the possibilities offered by wedge welding, that is, one that does not require classic additional material and the creation of a welded joint. two significant methods of joining pipes are pointed out and the advantages of this neglected method of joining different materials of different chemical composition are also mentioned.Item Konštrukčná úprava strižných hrán(University of Žilina, 2024) Moravec, JánThe contribution is devoted to geometrical questions related to the issue of adjusting the active parts of the cutting tool. There are three modifications of the cutters: With the blade beveled inward and bevelled outward, the blades formed by the intersection of two cylinders. The necessary schemes of these solutions and the necessary mathematical relations are published.Item Konštrukčný návrh koľajového adaptéra pre ľahké nákladné vozidlo, typ oceľ-oceľ(University of Žilina, 2024) Dižo, Ján; Fiačan, Jakub; Lovska, Alyona; Blatnický, Miroslav; Ishchuk, VadymTransportation is a quite complex system for relocation of passengers and goods for longer of shorter distances. Nowadays, a combination of several types of transport is typical for the most countries. Land transport includes road transport and railway transport. There are number of types of vehicles used for these individual kinds of transport. The most of them are able to move only on a road or on a railway track. However, there are a quite narrow group of vehicles, which can move both on a road and on a railway track. There are called rail-road vehicles. In principle, there are derived from road vehicle. The main objective of this rticle is to present an engineering design of an adapter for a light lorry. The work brings the main structural units of the rail-road vehicle and compares its properties with the previous engineering design. Despite, there are rail-road vehicles, this engineering design is characterized, that the adapter allows to set railway wheels to main track gauge.Item Kovokeramické trecie materiály využívané v práškovej metalurgi(University of Žilina, 2024) Kantoríková, ElenaMetal-ceramic materials are produced from a mixture of metal and ceramic powders. These are primarily sintered carbides for cutting tools and friction materials for brake linings. Their use is important in cases where it is not possible to use normal friction materials. Important is a high coefficient of friction even at high temperature, good thermal conductivity, strength and resistance to abrasion.Item Parametricky modulovaný oscilátor v asymptotickom prípade(University of Žilina, 2024) Minárik, Ján; Ftorek, Branislav; Chupáč, RadoslavThis article deals with the asymptotic solution in analytical form of some second-order linear differential equation with time-dependent parameters. Time-periodic modulation of the parameters of the oscillatory system can lead to interesting phenomena. The analytical solution is compared with the numerical solution obtained by the Runge-Kutta method in the MATLAB environment. It provides basic information about the given topic, which is presented in the theoretical basis. It describes the definition, history and development and objectives of logistics. It also deals with aspects of Logistics 4.0 and the definition and history of artificial intelligence. The core of the work divides individual options between logistics platforms using artificial intelligence and logistics technologies using artificial intelligence, the principle of operation of which is subsequently described. The conclusion is devoted to the evaluation of the current state of use of artificial intelligence in the logistics industry. It also contains an overview of the advantages and disadvantages of the mentioned possibilities of use.Item Problematika logistiky pri skladovaní tvárniacich nástrojov a otázka opotrebovania činných dielov(University of Žilina, 2024) Melo, BorislavThe article deals with the specific issue of the logistics of forming tools within the company. The submitted contribution in a brief overview points to possible situations that may arise in the production process when applying forming tools. It is also pointed out the possibilities of solving the situations that arise in the production preparation stage. An addition is also pointing out the issue of wear and tear of active parts of clippers and their renovation.Item Simulácia zvárania heterogénneho zvarového spoja v programe Sysweld(University of Žilina, 2024) Koňár, RadoslavThe article deals with the analysis and subsequent simulation of a heterogeneous butt weld joint. Specifically, it is a combination of S355 steel and AlSI316 anti-corrosion steel. The welding simulation was based on a real experiment, during which several quantities were measured and analyzed, which served to define the boundary conditions for the simulation. The result of the analysis is the calculation of temperature fields and deformations for a heterogeneous joint, as well as monitoring the influence of different steels on the welding process and heat propagation.Item Technológ - celé číslo 2/2024(University of Žilina, 2024)Item Vplyv teploty na Barkhausenov šum v Co a Gd(University of Žilina, 2024) Neslušan, Miroslav; Čížek, Jakub; Mičietová, Anna; Čilliková, MáriaThe present paper deals with Barkhausen noise emission in Gd. Barkhausen noise emission was investigated in the temperature range mainly below the Gd Curie temperature when the spontaneous magnetization in Gd occurs. Barkhausen noise from the heavy rare-earth Gd is compared with Barkhausen noise emission from the transition metal Co measured at the same magnetizing and other conditions. This study demonstrates that Barkhausen noise emitted from Gd is much weaker than that originating from Co. This is a consequence of different spin exchange interaction among the neighbouring atoms, domain wall thickness as a well as domain wall energies. Moreover, Barkhausen noise is temperature sensitive especially for Gd sample as a result of the altering magneto-crystalline anisotropy.Item Vplyv Ti na mechanické a fyzikálne vlastnosti AlSi5Cu2MG zliatiny(University of Žilina, 2024) Sýkorová, Martina; Bolibruchová, DanaThe hypoeutectic aluminum alloy AlSi5Cu2Mg is used in the field of high-strength cylinder head castings for the automotive sector due to its favorable combination of mechanical, physical, and foundry properties. The regulation of the chemical composition of the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy set by the manufacturer limits the use of standard grain refiners based on Al-Ti and Al-Ti-B due to the limited content of Ti (max. 0.03 wt.%). The article is focused on the possibility of increasing the Ti content in this specific alloy above 0.03 wt. % Ti. The article investigates the effect of graded addition of Ti (0.1; 0.2 and 0.3 wt. % Ti) on the resulting mechanical and physical properties of the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy. In this paper, the effect of T6 heat treatment on the resulting mechanical and physical properties was also evaluated. The physical properties of the experimental alloys with Ti addition decreased with increasing Ti content. No significant changes in the mechanical properties were observed due to the addition of Ti. The ductility of the experimental alloys increased positively. The best combination of mechanical and physical properties was demonstrated by AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy with the addition of 0.1 wt. % Ti.Item Výskum hybridných hliníkových odliatkov s použitím penových jadier(University of Žilina, 2024) Medňanský, Martin; Brůna, MarekThe paper focuses on the technological challenges posed by the production of experimental hybrid castings by overcasting technology. Theoretically, using this technology provides lower casting weight while maintaining positive mechanical properties and improves the energy absorption capability of the component. The effect of the pressure used during the foaming of the cores on the relative density of the metal foam component was experimentally evaluated. The challenge of the technology is the interface between the casting and the oxide coated core surface. Surface-treated cores were cast and their interfaces were observed microscopically. The experimental results showed a positive effect of the presence of AlPO4 in the interface to prevent the penetration of liquid metal into the pores of the foam core.
