Item Hodnotenie tribologických vlastností DLC povlakov vybraných tribologických dvojíc(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Čuchor, Matúš; Ondriga, JozefDLC coatings have several characteristics that have industrial applications. Principal advantages include a low coefficient of friction, hardness, abrasion resistance, and corrosion resistance. Coatings are evaluated using a number of test procedures. The ball-on-flat method was used to conduct the tests that are the focus of this paper. The tribological pair consisted of a DLC-coated plate and test balls made from three different materials. Experiments provide the friction coefficient curves as well as an optical evaluation of the DLC coating's wear. In all three types of examined tribological pairings, the coating was worn, but the DLC coating on the plate was not completely removed. After the break-in phase, the coefficient of friction has approximately constant values.Item Disperzne spevnené materiály(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Kantoríková, ElenaDispersion reinforced systems are composites with a matrix reinforced with a dispersive discontinuous phase. They are mainly produced by powder metallurgy technologies. Dispersion-strengthened materials have a polycrystalline matrix, into which dispersed particles are introduced, most often of the type of oxides, carbides and nitrides. The essence of the strengthening effect of dispersoids is both direct and consists in inhibiting the movement of dislocations of the matrix, as well as indirect in that, during the formation of the system, dispersoids increase the density of dislocations and refine the grain and subgrain structure.Item Návrh elektrického mechanizmu otáčania výložníka stĺpového žeriava pre manipuláciu s kalovými čerpadlami(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Blatnický, Miroslav; Dižo, Ján; Molnár, Denis; Ishchuk, VadymThe article is a continuation of the issue of the technical solution of the hinge for handling sludge pumps in the Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear power plant. The main goal is the design of the electric jib rotating mechanism. It was based on the previous proposal for placing the boom consisting of a dimensional calculation of the new support column and the proposal for placing the boom on this column. The save consisted of two bonds. The upper support of the boom was solved using a rolling bearing fixed in the upper part of the column. The bottom bearing contains an axial plain bearing and a fixed gear as part of the rotating mechanism. In the next step, it is necessary to design the attachment of the selected electric motor with a planetary gearbox and a pinion for this construction. The priority in the design will be mainly to observe the axial distance of the gears, but also to consider the mounting method given by the manufacturer and the torque generated by the engine. A holder in which the motor is attached and then attached to the structure will be designed. Thanks to this, the axial distance will be fulfilled. In addition to supporting the motor, the holder also serves as a radial bearing lock, preventing the bearing from being accidentally pulled out. The result of calculations and designs will be 2D diagrams and 3D visualization of the new construction.Item Porovnanie deformačných charakteristík vysokopevných ocelí používaných v automotive(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Evin, Emil; Tomáš, Miroslav; Kokarda, Vladimír; Kulya, Juliy MartynThe goal of the research was to compare the deformation properties such as absorption capacity, resistance to deformation, stiffness of high-strength steels with the properties of microalloyed steel based on the results of the tensile test and the three-point bending test. HTC 590X dual-phase steel and RAK 40/70 steel have the potential to reduce intrusion into the passenger compartment, as the maximum deformation resistance, stiffness and energy absorbed in the three-point bending test were greater compared to H220PD microalloy steel reinforcement.Item Optimálny návrh výroby neštandardného ozubeného súkolesia(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Maláková, Silvia; Sivák, SamuelGears are among the most widely used transmission mechanisms, and the gear wheel has become a symbol of mechanical engineering. In operation, high demands are placed on the function of the gears. To achieve them, the production of gears plays an important role. Closely related to the production of gears are the specific questions of manufacturers, which method of gear production to choose. Consideration of economic initial costs, serial production, shape requirements of the gear ring and, last but not least, accuracy also led to the decision. When the oxide layer is retained on the surface of the melt it prevents the melt by hydrogen saturation. The oxide layer is harmful when it is submerged into the melt. He must determine which strategy will be advantageous for him from the point of view of costs, downtime and other important factorsItem Stanovenie únavovej pevnosti zvarových spojov ocele S960MC zváraných laserovým lúčom(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Frátrik, Martin; Mičian, MilošThe work deals with determining the fatigue strength of butt-welded joints of S960MC steel. The fatigue strength of two versions of laser beam welded joints as well as the base material was assessed. To reduce the notch effect of the weld beam, the assessed weld joints were produced in a variety of methods utilizing filler material and additional dressing of the weld beam. The measurements determined variations in each type. The value of the fatigue strength decreased by 50 % to 67 % with respect to the base material, indicating that the notch effect of the weld joint had an impact on the value of the fatigue limit. Despite having relatively low fatigue strengths, both values meet normative standards and can be used in practical circumstances.Item Vplyv Sr, Zr a Mo na vybrané vlastnosti AlSi5Cu2Mg zliatiny(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Sýkorová, Martina; Bolibruchová, Dana; Širanec, LukášHypoeutectic AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy is a relatively new alloy that finds application in the production of high stress cylinder head castings. This work focuses on the investigation of the solubility of the additive elements Sr, Zr, and Mo in AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy. The main objective of the work was to characterize the influence of the additive elements on selected properties of the experimental alloy AlSi5Cu2Mg with respect to the melting method of the additive elements. The additive elements Sr, Zr, and Mo were introduced into the melt in the form of AlSr10, AlZr20, and AlMo10 master alloys were melted in 2 ways in an electric resistance furnace and an electric induction furnace. Depending on the melting method, the experimental alloys were designated Sr-Z, Zr-Z, Mo-Z (electric resistance furnace), and Sr-I, Zr-I, and Mo-I (electric induction furnace). The results showed that the presence of Sr, Zr, and Mo in the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy led to a negative increase in the area fraction of porosity and a decrease in the physical properties, regardless of the melting method of the master alloys. Based on the summarized results, it was shown that the experimental alloys Sr-I, and Sr-Z did not show a significant increase in mechanical properties. A negative effect on the selected mechanical properties was noted by the experimental alloy Zr-Z. The most favourable combination of mechanical properties was obtained by the experimental alloys Mo-I and Zr-I.Item Konštrukčný návrh mechanizmu skrutkového manipulátora turniketu sypkých materiálov(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Molnár, Denis; Blatnický, Miroslav; Dižo, Ján; Ishchuk, VadymThe article is the next step in the ongoing research regarding the incorporation of the proposed bulk material turnstile assembly into an existing production line serving the food industry for bagging powdered milk. The main goal of this contribution is the presentation of the structural design and related technical calculations of the screw manipulator as part of the turnstile for loose materials. The proposed mechanism will enable precise manipulation of the turnstile, especially when it is necessary to clean the pipe connected to the turnstile. Such handling is relevant nowadays due to increasing the safety of maintenance of machines and equipment and due to reducing the physical load of maintenance workers. The results prove the appropriateness of the use of the given structural design and are the basis for further research in the given area. The results will be implemented in the form of boundary conditions for the numerical analyses of the connecting elements of the frame carrying the entire carriage with the turnstile (the frame forms a path for the carriage) and also for numerical calculations of the frame itself. Programming takes place in the Siemens TIA Portal software, which is then loaded into a Programmable Logic Automator which is interconnected with the source Siemens SITOP PSU100S. The main objective of the paper was to provide an overview of the current state of-the-art in automated manufacturing and to create an example of an automated warehouse that can be used in teaching as an ideal simulation and demonstration model for training and industrial automation.Item Hodnotenie vplyvu technologických parametrov na mikroštrutúru vysokotlakových odliatkov(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Medňanský, Martin; Brůna, Marek; Matejka, MarekA number of technological parameters influence the mechanical properties of a high pressure die casting. The aim of the presented paper was to perform microstructural analysis of AlSi9Cu3(Fe) alloy casting fabricated with high-pressure die casting (HPDC) technology. Several castings with varying casting parameter – maximum plunger speed vmax were cast. In pre-selected critical spots, the effect of vmax was observed on the shape and size of the structural components, where at lower vmax the eutectic Si shortened in length and thickened. EDS analysis determined found intermetallic phases to be α-Al(Fe,Mn,Cr)Si in the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron with sizes as small as 2 µm and Al2Cu being present in both modifications – oblong grains and globular ternary eutectic. These bikes are produced in more variants and they differ by several signs. There are dimensions, weight categories, used accessories and others. Together with this, there are different technical solutions, which make them different to each other. Usually, it refers to technical solutions of suspension system of a rear wheel of also a front wheel. A rear wheel can be suspended by different systems, which lead to different characteristics are provide different riding properties. The project is aimed at creating distance learning materials for improving the quality of education of students and academic staff, by introducing technical webinars and online lectures for education in technical fields with a high proportion of examples of practical engineering production. An important activity of the project is the solution of CASE STUDIES - technical tasks from industrial practice, which lead to mutual transfer of experience between students and teachers and also experts from practice. Despite the increasing popularity of electric vehicles, internal combustion engines (ICEs) continue to dominate the global vehicle fleet, making it essential to find a way to reduce GHG emissions from this sector. One potential solution is the use of efuels, also known as synthetic fuels, which can significantly reduce GHG emissions from transportation. While there are still several challenges associated with their production and use, the benefits of efuels make them a solution worth pursuing. Continued research and development are necessary to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of efuel production and to ensure that they are a sustainable and environmentally responsible solution for the future of transportation. The preparation of material for further processing cannot be imagined without the use of cutting technology. The text of the contribution describes the geometric solution of the cutter and also the construction of the used tool for the area of trimming sheet metal and creating qualitatively more suitable cutting surfaces. The goal of the contribution was the design of a tool for the application of sheet metal trimming.Item Porovnanie geometrickej presnosti obrobkov po tvrdom frézovaní a brúsení(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Čilliková, Mária; Mičietová, Anna; Neslušan, MiroslavThis paper deals with surface integrity after hard milling of bearing steel 100Cr6. Surface integrity is expressed in terms of shape deviation as well as Barkhausen noise emission. Furthermore, components of cutting forces are also measured as a function of tool wear. Non homogeneity of cutting force distribution within the contact between the milling cutter and workpiece is discussed. The results of measurements indicate that the shape as well as structure remarkable non homogeneity should be expected after hard milling due to missing full contact between milling cutter and workpiece. This non homogeneity can be monitored via Barkhausen noise technique. On the other hand, the competitive grinding cycles produced more homogenous surface and surface state is a function of infeed speed.Item Tvárnenie skla v jednoduchom tvárniacom nástroji(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2023) Moravec, JánThe contribution presents the analysis and issues of glass forming in a forming tool with external heating. The necessary theoretical knowledge and properties of glass, which are necessary for solving the design of the forming tool, are listed. technological methods of glass forming are mainly press-blowing and forming with a double-blowing system. With the help of the described tool, glass can be relatively successfully shaped, which is inserted into the tool in the shape of a plate. The glass plate, which is bent into a cylindrical or hemispherical shape, is placed on the press and heated with a flame until the glass is sufficiently soft to work with.
