Item Magnetic forming with heat in a magnetic field(University of Žilina, 2024) Moravec, JánThe article focuses on the application of a magnetic field in the forming of low-carbon steel castings. The original solution of the forming device, which was used in the experimental works, is presented. Flexspline is very adversely stressed during operation. In essence, stresses from deformation by the generator, stresses from the transmitted load and local stresses from the bending of the teeth in the tooth gaps act in it. Flexspline is radially flexible, but torsionally very stiff. When the wave generator is inserted into the Flexspline, the gear takes on its elliptical shape. When designing a flexible wheel, it is very important to determine and correctly choose its geometric properties.Item Vyladenie mechanickej sústavy pohonu piestového kompresora z hľadiska veľkosti torzného kmitania(University of Žilina, 2024) Urbanský, Matej; Kaššay, PeterOne of possible ways to change the amount of compressed air delivered by a piston compressor is to change its operating speed. However, it can cause an improper tuning of the mechanical system of piston compressor drive in terms of torsional dynamics. In order to avoid excessive torsional vibration, a suitable pneumatic flexible shaft coupling can be used in the system. An optimum air pressure value in a pneumatic coupling was determined experimentally for three various operating modes of an experimental mechanical system of piston compressor drive.Item Aplikácia nedeštruktívnych metód kontroly na zvarové spoje vyrobené z plastu(University of Žilina, 2024) Koňár, Radoslav; Grünermelová, LuciaThe article describes the possibilities of non-destructive testing of welds made of plastic materials. Both surface and volume methods of non-destructive testing can be used for plastic welds. Non-destructive testing of plastics has certain limitations. The limitations are related to the physical-mechanical properties of the material, as well as the geometry of the tested parts. The most common inspection of welds on plastic materials is a visual inspection, which is carried out to the extent of 100 %. For the inspection of plastic welds, it is also possible to use the penetration method and, with limitations, also ultrasonic and radiographic inspection.Item Vplyv tvaru telesa na deformáciu čelného ozubenia(University of Žilina, 2024) Maláková, Silvia; Kepeň Harachová, Daniela; Krajňák, JozefThe article is devoted to the analysis of the influence of the basic parameters of the body of the spur gear on the deformation of the teeth in meshing. The problem is solved for spur gears of large dimensions, the semi finished product of which can be a weldment, casting or forging. Gear deformations are determined by the finite element method. Examples of simulation and subsequent processing of the results demonstrate the extent of the influence of individual parameters of the gear body on the deformation of the gearing. At the same time, the results point to suitable designs of shape and dimensions to achieve the desired deformation of the teeth but with the smallest possible weight of the gears.Item Možnosti využitia technológie termálneho vŕtania na účely spájania tenkostenných nerovnakých materiálov v automobilovom priemysle(University of Žilina, 2024) Guzanová, Anna; Veligotskyi, Nikita; Draganovská, DagmarThe article deals with the study of the applicability of flowdrill technology for the formation of joints between thin metallic materials based on iron and aluminium alloy. This technology is primarily used to create holes in profiles with a local increase in material thickness to accommodate a greater number of threads. If used to drill two interleaved thin-walled materials, a joint is formed as a secondary effect. The quality of the resulting bushings forming the interference fit joint was investigated. The joints were formed using a combination of uncoated deep drawn steel, galvanized HSLA steel and aluminum alloy, in different positions in the joint. Subsequently, tensile shear testing of single joints was performed. The load carrying capacity of the joints was also tested in combination with adhesive bonding. The load capacity of the joints combined with bonding was significantly higher compared to flowdrill joints. The combination of both technologies yields an increase in the absorbed energy of the joint at failure.Item Návrh koľajového adaptéra typu guma-koľajnica pre ľahké nákladné vozidlo(University of Žilina, 2024) Dižo, Ján; Fiačan, Jakub; Blatnický, Miroslav; Lovska, Alyona; Ishchuk, VadymThe article is focused on design of a tyre-rail adapter to be mounted on a light road-rail vehicle. The novelty of the design consists in its possibility to change the wheelbase of the vehicle axles for different railway tracks gauges. Then, the considered light vehicle could fulfil various working tasks in a country, where more railway tracks gauges occur. The modified vehicle is a light lorry, which is intended to be used as a versatile and utility vehicle for maintenance purposes and repairing purposes.Item Vplyv striedavého namáhania na zmenu teploty vzduchu v pružnom pneumatickom elemente(University of Žilina, 2024) Krajňák, Jozef; Maláková, Silvia; Kepeň Harachová, DanielaRubber as a material is one of the frequently used materials in mechanical engineering. This article deals with rubber, or flexible pneumatic elements, the main part of which is rubber. We determine the effect of alternating stress on the temperature change in the flexible pneumatic element under this variable load. We describe a device that serves this purpose. This device was designed and manufactured in our department. We also determine the effect of the air pressure of the flexible element on the temperature of the air and the temperature of the flexible elements. The practical part is dealing with developing of design of bending tool for bending of metal sheet parts and made technological processes for manufacturing of non standard components. The part of design is an account of bending strength, bending work, and made cutting plans. Their fundamental advantage over other metal materials is their higher melting temperature, which exceeds the melting temperature of iron. In the practical part, the method of application of magnetic forming in the production of tins in lead samples is presented. The relevance of after-work activities is covered in the introduction. The relationship between employees' work and non-work activities is illustrated in the section that follows. The last section addresses the effects of employees' unequal workloads and non-work activities as well as suggestions for personalized advice. An individual's general well-being depends on having a balanced ratio between work and non-work activities, which is why the article offers a more comprehensive answer to this issue.Item Pneumatické pružné hriadeľové spojky v pohonoch mechanických sústav(University of Žilina, 2024) Kaššay, Peter; Urbanský, MatejThe article presents a newly developed pneumatic flexible shaft coupling with hose flexible element usable, among other applications, in drives of mechanical systems. The presented coupling uses a hose-shaped flexible element winding between the supporting surfaces of coupling’s driving and driven hub. As the torque transfer is ensured with compressed air, the torsional stiffness of coupling can be adapted to actual operating parameters (rotational speed) with change or air pressure inside the flexible elements. This makes the presented coupling suitable for semi-active torsional vibration control. A patent was also granted for the presented coupling design. The design of hose-shaped element enables reliable sealing of compression volume and it is also easy to assembly and dismantle.Item Hodnotenie zmeny mikrogeometrie kovového povrchu vzhľadom na aplikačnú dobu fosfátovania(University of Žilina, 2024) Draganovská, Dagmar; Guzanová, Anna; Ižaríková, GabrielaThe contribution is focused on the analysis of the microgeometry of metal surfaces after applying a conversion layer using phosphating. The types of basic materials used in the experiment are uncoated deep drawn steel DC04 and hot-dip galvanized microalloy steel HX340LAD+Z. During the application of the conversion layer, the changes of the microgeometry parameters of the surfaces were studied with respect to the phosphating time, which was 3, 5 and 10 minutes. The paper also deals with the statistical evaluation of roughness parameters of pre-treated surfaces. The achieved results provide information for other technological operations such as the creation of adhesive joints, where the correct anchoring of the adhesive is important for the load-bearing capacity of the joints.
