Zameriava sa na uverejňovanie príspevkov a prác venujúcich sa otázkam z oblasti trieskových a beztrieskových technológií, fyzikálnych princípov, nekonvenčných technológií, technologickosti konštrukcií nástrojov, ekonomike výrobného procesu, ekologizácii, spracovaniu odpadov. Takisto publikuje práce o strojoch, nástrojoch, prípravkoch a meracej technike pre oblasť mechanických technológií, výsledkoch výskumu vo sfére informačných technológií v technologickej oblasti. Uverejňuje práce o histórii a vývine mechanických technológií. Časopis zverejňuje príspevky v jazykoch: slovenskom, českom, poľskom, ruskom, anglickom a nemeckom.

    Tvárnenie skla v jednoduchom tvárniacom nástroji

    The contribution presents the analysis and issues of glass forming in a forming tool with external heating. The necessary theoretical knowledge and properties of glass, which are necessary for solving the design of the forming tool, are listed. technological methods of glass forming are mainly press-blowing and forming with a double-blowing system. With the help of the described tool, glass can be relatively successfully shaped, which is inserted into the tool in the shape of a plate. The glass plate, which is bent into a cylindrical or hemispherical shape, is placed on the press and heated with a flame until the glass is sufficiently soft to work with.

    The paper describes the issue of closing pipe ends in a pressing tool specially designed for this work. Theoretical relations from the theory of forming form the necessary basis for the subsequent design of the tool. production process. A simple tool with the application and consideration of theoretical knowledge usually brings a significant effect expressed not only financially, but also qualitatively, which was also confirmed in this case.
