    The trend of a number of internet connections in Slovakia and selected European countries

    Nowadays we live in a time, when the number of internet connections are growing as users start sending information mostly via the internet. This article consists of statistics and information about the internet connections in Slovakia and through statistical methods we will calculate if the trend grows or rises in every district of Slovakia. The trend shows us, how important it is to adapt from postal services to new trends and take care about users who want to use postal services in this new way and to demonstrate that the number of internet connections are growing in every country. In this article we will compare statistical data between Slovakia and selected European countries. For more specific results, we should calculate the trend per citizen. The reason is, that we should compare countries where much more citizens live, than in Slovakia. This article focuses on the situation in the Slovak market. It could help to demonstrate how electronic communication and postal services could cooperate.

    This article deals with the issue of customer satisfaction with the services of the national postal operator in the Slovak Republic. The article compares two surveys of customer satisfaction with the aim of pointing to differences in the perception of the quality of postal services between ordinary and corporate customers. Finally, the article illustrates the differences in the perception of the importance of selected quality criteria of the postal services and the satisfaction assessment between these two types of customers.

    ANALÝZA MOBILNÝCH APLIKÁCIÍ VYBRANÝCH NÁRODNÝCH POSKYTOVATEĽOV POŠTOVÝCH SLUŽIEB

    We analyze the mobile app functionality of national postal services providers. We have selected four countries from around the world for a spectacular survey of mobile applications. Using comparison method, we compared selected mobile applications functionality in different countries. The aim of the paper is to evaluate the current state of the mobile application of Slovak Post and design a new application.
