Item Analýza súčasného stavu problematiky využitia manipulačných zariadení pre potreby skúšobných stavov brzdných komponentov koľajových vozidiel(University of Žilina, 2024) Molnár, Denis; Blatnický, Miroslav; Dižo, Ján; Lovska, AlyonaThe paper deals with the current state of the art of the research test stands of braking components of rail vehicles in synthesis to the need of handling equipment utilisation accompanying the research in question. The compact form of the introduced information will be the input material for the design of an original handling device, sophisticatedly designed for the needs of the test stand for rail vehicles brake components testing. The brake test stand is located at the Department of Transport and Handling Machines at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Žilina. The task of proposed handling device will be to facilitate the work of laboratory staff, increase the safety of handling and shorten the preparation time of the measurement process at brake test stand. Currently, there are various eye movement measurement systems designed to perform a high-quality reconstruction of the direction of eye movement of road users depending on time. In addition to the basic physiology of the perception of road users, the paper deals with using the Viewpointsystem® measurement system designed to analyse eye movement when perceiving the traffic situation. The article assesses the development of traffic accidents in the Slovak Republic according to the consequences of traffic accidents and categories of road users. As part of determining the decisive moment for a collision situation, an analysis of the direction of the eye movement of the driver of the vehicle during a dangerous traffic situation while driving on a road section located in a rural area is performed.Item Optimization of ground handling processes at KSC airport(University of Žilina, 2023) Baštáková, Zuzana; Rostáš, JánContent of this professional article is to describe ground handling processes at the airport in Košice. The main goal is to optimize ground handling with an emphasis on their efficiency not only from the point of view of the range and quality of services provided, but also their correct timing. At the beginning of the article, I describe ground support equipments as well as all related activities that must be performed by handling workers to ensure the smooth operation of the airport and the satisfaction of air carriers, including their passengers. Part of the work is the analysis of technical parameters and functionalities of the equipment and technologies used on apron. The next part is devoted to the description and analysis of the system of ground handling at Košice airport. The last part will belong to the issue of process improvement with the identification of proposed changes leading to more efficient ground handling.Item Analysis of selected aircrafts suitable for PPL training(University of Zilina, 2021) Matula, Dominik; Bugaj, MartinThe main goal of the paper is based on the analysis to define the criteria for selecting an aircraft suitable for PPL training. We achieved the main goal by meeting two sub-goals. The first sub-objective is the analysis of training organizations in Slovakia, on the basis of which we have selected entities for the second sub-objective thus the analysis of selected aircrafts suitable for PPL training. In this work we analyze three, most used training aircrafts for PPL training in Slovakia. We analyze selected aircrafts in terms of three main parts, which include, analysis of technical parameters, analysis of flight characteristics and analysis of operating parameters. Based on the given analyzes, we obtained an evaluation of the characteristics of selected aircrafts, their individual advantages and disadvantages. Other results of the work include the evaluation of criteria that are suitable for aircrafts designed for PPL training. This work can be applied in practice, especially when deciding on the selection of a training aircraft for a student or training organization.Item Analysis of new progressive diagnistic methods in the area of aircraft maintenance(University of Zilina, 2021) Supuka, Matej; Hrúz, MichalIn the area of aircraft maintenance, we commonly meet with the problem of corrosion, detection of which is one of the primary obstacles. Implementation of modern sensing techniques has a potential to bring many benefits. The objective of this work is to analyze technologies, their potential applications, and viability of switching to autonomous detection using computer aided sensing. Primary source of information were research articles from science databases such as ResearchGate and ScienceDirect. Available documents were analyzed and subsequently, useful information was extracted. First part deals with theretical knowledge about corrosion, based on which potential technologies were chosen. Those were then described, and their viability was analyzed, based on how well they could achieve our goals. Selected technologies have shown potential, however necessary solutions could not be found to enable fully switching tou autonomous computer detection. Although data acquired show many potential benefits that could arise from partial implementation of these technologies combined fith old fashioned visual inspection.Item The trend of a number of internet connections in Slovakia and selected European countries(University of Zilina, 2017) Pechota, Matej; Matúšková, MáriaNowadays we live in a time, when the number of internet connections are growing as users start sending information mostly via the internet. This article consists of statistics and information about the internet connections in Slovakia and through statistical methods we will calculate if the trend grows or rises in every district of Slovakia. The trend shows us, how important it is to adapt from postal services to new trends and take care about users who want to use postal services in this new way and to demonstrate that the number of internet connections are growing in every country. In this article we will compare statistical data between Slovakia and selected European countries. For more specific results, we should calculate the trend per citizen. The reason is, that we should compare countries where much more citizens live, than in Slovakia. This article focuses on the situation in the Slovak market. It could help to demonstrate how electronic communication and postal services could cooperate.Item ANALÝZA VYUŽÍVANIA IKT V PROCESE VZDELÁVANIA(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2018) Kremeňová, Iveta; Fabuš, Juraj; Beňušová, JanaModern education - an increasingly resonant theme in every society. The article presents the results of the analysis of the use of ICT in the education process at selected secondary school in Žilina. Based on the current state of modern education, we conducted primary marketing research, which we can understand as successive follow-up steps, which are logically arranged and defined in the two main phases - the preparatory and the implementation phases. It characterizes the legislative conditions in the Slovak Republic and the European Union and the areas of use of unmanned aerial vehicles. The main objective of the work is to analyze current trends that may affect the development of unmanned aircraft in civil aviation. The work also includes innovations in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles that could be implemented in the future. The conclusion of the bachelor thesis summarizes the results of the current analysis and predicting the future development of UAVs.
