Item Letecké multispektrálne snímkovanie v poľnohospodárskom odvetví(University of Žilina, 2024) Šmidt, Marco; Veľký, PatrikThis thesis focuses on the possibilities of applying airborne detection in many bands. Possibilities of multispectral detection in direction of use such as animal monitoring or scarecrow placement. In another direction of using thermal imaging for finding temperature anomalies or obtaining information from UAV sensors to improve economics in agriculture, light reflectance, electromagnetic spectrum, comparing satellites and UAVs in agriculture, and vegetation indices. The analysis of the studies was based on simulations and calculations followed by laboratory tests and external measurements. Using certain sensors operating in the corresponding regions of the frequency spectrum, the detection ranges of the drones were used to find the outputs derived from the calculated and simulated values, where a comparison of the studies followed.Item Technicko-prevádzkové charakteristiky pre rôzne aplikácie UAV(University of Žilina, 2024) Valetskyi, Maksym; Veľký, PatrikThe goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a system for analyzing technical and operational characteristics for various UAV applications. The work consists of 4 parts: the first part describes the current methods of qualification and separation of drones according to the above mentioned parameters, the second part analyzes in detail five different ways of using drones, the third part of the part selects the most important technical and operational ones based on the data from the previous part parameters and a table is created. In the last practical part, with the help of logical analysis, cause-and-effect relationships, methods of assumptions and results of the research, the relationships or so-called correlations entered in the table are investigated between the values listed in the table. This model helps to optimize the operation of the drone, save money on the purchase, maintenance and increase the safety of its operation.Item Analýza nekonvenčných aerodynamických konfigurácií lietadiel(University of Žilina, 2024) Šlachtič, Emil; Veľký, PatrikThis article deals with the research and analysis of unconventional aerodynamic configurations of aircraft, developed in the aerospace industry. Primary CFD simulations of the respective models were used for the purpose of research and analysing the configurations, as well as analysis of the airflow around the 3D models in the wind tunnel of Air Transport Department. The aim was to find out why these configurations are not being used, or why they should be used in the aviation industry nowadays. The analysis was carried out mainly from an aerodynamic point of view. The different models were chosen based mainly on IATA’s forecast of trends in air transport. From the analyses, it was found that certain models are more efficient than their conventional counterparts, mainly due to the reduction in induced drag. However, these configurations are also much more sensitive to flutter due to the high aspect ratio, which poses a challenge especially from a structural point of view. Ti can therefore be assumed that the reason for not using these configurations represent a significant reduction in operating costs, they are unprofitable for operators. In contrast, BWB configurations appear very promising in terms of both efficiency and fuel savings, and it is therefore assumed that these models may enter service in 2030.Item Noise optimisation of aircraft jet engines(University of Zilina, 2022) Veľký, Patrik; Pecho, PavolAviation industry is source of noise, which has negative impact to human health and significantly influences surrounding fauna and flora. Nowadays tendency and also a need of higher care about environment concerns the aviation sector as well, which has eminent negative aspects to environment. This study is concentrated on concept solution of changes of jet engine´s output parameters, especially focused on noise emissions, using shape changes of nozzle of created 3D jet engine model, what allows simpler, economic undemanding, but relevant resulting analyse of fluid flow through the engine. Object of the research is influence of the nozzle shape to the created noise effect, which was made by fluid flow going through this shape. The goal of the study is to make and analyse as much as possible ideal shape characteristics of jet engines with the reference to the noise. The result is evaluation of possibility to do some kinds of research and analysis of jet engines on 3D models of jet engines, their comparison with reference to another parameters, such as: thrust or fuel consumption. To completing research were used facilities, devices and places of Air Department, also necessary tools and other stuff which belongs to the owner of this study. For modelling 3D model of engine and nozzle shapes, was used computer software and production of these shapes allows 3D printer. Used methods for creating nozzles are with regards to real shapes of engine. Results and conclusions of this research are appropriate to be used in praxis of air or another industry, whose purpose is utilizing thrust units. With application of these data is possible the achieve reduced noise of certain unit, with some changes of other parameters, such as: increased or decreased fuel consumption or thrust, according to the initial requirements. Moreover, these results can be used not only for industrial purposes, but also are relevant for economics.Item SYSTÉM MERANIA AERODYNAMICKÝCH SÍL V DEMONŠTRAČNOM VETERNOM TUNELI(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Veľký, Patrik; Pecho, PavolThe purpose of the article was to solve a part of the wind tunnel, specifically part of the measurement of wind forces. The work deals with the mechanism by which it is possible to determinate the values of bouyancy, downforce and drag of the object, which is attached to the system. The work takes into account the conditions under which the mechanism had to be constructed. Selection of suitable material due to price and quality, dimensional conditions, method of measuremnt system itslef and output from the mechanism. In addition to the design itself, the scope of work also included a summary of the current state in the field of aerodynamics and wind tunnels, an analysis of current requirements for the operation of wind tunnels and a final summary from a technical and economic point of view. At the beginning of the work are summarized the basics of general aviation and the importance of aerodynamics associated with it. The second part of the work is a wind tunnel, its importance for aviation and then its design and construction of a functional mechanism for measuring the required parameters. Due to the fact that the wind tunnel was built by students and employees of the University, the work includes its own practical experience.
