When rendering large scenarios for flight simulators, we encounter similar problems as in the case of scenes for cinematography or computer games. In the case of this work, we solve the rendering of the earth's surface for any camera configuration, and we try to maximize the quality of the rendered images without a visible decrease in the rendering frequency. The article is devoted to the creation of a reference model of the Piešťany airport (LZPP) as a part of the scenery for a certified flight simulator. The presented solution maintains a stable 60 frames per second when rendering the airport surface from any distance and direction.en_US
