dc.description.abstractThe article aims to analyse the existing methods for simulating a crowd evacuation at the crisis events utilised in the EU and Slovakia and a design for using these methods aiming at an area evacuation. In the preparatory phase in the prevention area of crisis management, it is significant to count on the variedness of the crisis phenomena that can develop. Therefore, it is a crucial step to select a suitable scenario because by solving a crisis, we protect life and health of people and increase the safety of the population. Protecting the citizens is a system of measures that are ensured based on analysing the given territory and the possible occurrence of an emergency.en_US
