    Stanovenie únavovej pevnosti zvarových spojov ocele S960MC zváraných laserovým lúčom

    The work deals with determining the fatigue strength of butt-welded joints of S960MC steel. The fatigue strength of two versions of laser beam welded joints as well as the base material was assessed. To reduce the notch effect of the weld beam, the assessed weld joints were produced in a variety of methods utilizing filler material and additional dressing of the weld beam. The measurements determined variations in each type. The value of the fatigue strength decreased by 50 % to 67 % with respect to the base material, indicating that the notch effect of the weld joint had an impact on the value of the fatigue limit. Despite having relatively low fatigue strengths, both values meet normative standards and can be used in practical circumstances.

    Porovnanie geometrickej presnosti obrobkov po tvrdom frézovaní a brúsení

    This paper deals with surface integrity after hard milling of bearing steel 100Cr6. Surface integrity is expressed in terms of shape deviation as well as Barkhausen noise emission. Furthermore, components of cutting forces are also measured as a function of tool wear. Non homogeneity of cutting force distribution within the contact between the milling cutter and workpiece is discussed. The results of measurements indicate that the shape as well as structure remarkable non homogeneity should be expected after hard milling due to missing full contact between milling cutter and workpiece. This non homogeneity can be monitored via Barkhausen noise technique. On the other hand, the competitive grinding cycles produced more homogenous surface and surface state is a function of infeed speed.

    Návrh elektrického mechanizmu otáčania výložníka stĺpového žeriava pre manipuláciu s kalovými čerpadlami

    The article is a continuation of the issue of the technical solution of the hinge for handling sludge pumps in the Jaslovské Bohunice nuclear power plant. The main goal is the design of the electric jib rotating mechanism. It was based on the previous proposal for placing the boom consisting of a dimensional calculation of the new support column and the proposal for placing the boom on this column. The save consisted of two bonds. The upper support of the boom was solved using a rolling bearing fixed in the upper part of the column. The bottom bearing contains an axial plain bearing and a fixed gear as part of the rotating mechanism. In the next step, it is necessary to design the attachment of the selected electric motor with a planetary gearbox and a pinion for this construction. The priority in the design will be mainly to observe the axial distance of the gears, but also to consider the mounting method given by the manufacturer and the torque generated by the engine. A holder in which the motor is attached and then attached to the structure will be designed. Thanks to this, the axial distance will be fulfilled. In addition to supporting the motor, the holder also serves as a radial bearing lock, preventing the bearing from being accidentally pulled out. The result of calculations and designs will be 2D diagrams and 3D visualization of the new construction.

    The contribution is devoted to the issue of material alignment. The theoretical description and essence of straightening by local heating is presented. Mechanical methods of leveling the material are also covered. In the experimental part, an experiment is described, which is based precisely on the theoretical analysis of the process of straightening by local heating.

    Hodnotenie vplyvu technologických parametrov na mikroštrutúru vysokotlakových odliatkov

    A number of technological parameters influence the mechanical properties of a high pressure die casting. The aim of the presented paper was to perform microstructural analysis of AlSi9Cu3(Fe) alloy casting fabricated with high-pressure die casting (HPDC) technology. Several castings with varying casting parameter – maximum plunger speed vmax were cast. In pre-selected critical spots, the effect of vmax was observed on the shape and size of the structural components, where at lower vmax the eutectic Si shortened in length and thickened. EDS analysis determined found intermetallic phases to be α-Al(Fe,Mn,Cr)Si in the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron with sizes as small as 2 µm and Al2Cu being present in both modifications – oblong grains and globular ternary eutectic. There was no significant change in microhardness of α(Al) phase found, that would be caused by the varying vmax

    Optimálny návrh výroby neštandardného ozubeného súkolesia

    Gears are among the most widely used transmission mechanisms, and the gear wheel has become a symbol of mechanical engineering. In operation, high demands are placed on the function of the gears. To achieve them, the production of gears plays an important role. Closely related to the production of gears are the specific questions of manufacturers, which method of gear production to choose. Consideration of economic initial costs, serial production, shape requirements of the gear ring and, last but not least, accuracy also led to the decision. The paper is devoted to the issue of manufacturing an elliptical gear with an asymmetric shape of the tooth profile.

    Konštrukcia strižného nástroja pre pristrihovanie činných plôch

    Cutting technology is one of the basic and supporting methods, preferably of dividing materials. The preparation of material for further processing cannot be imagined without the use of cutting technology. The text of the contribution describes the geometric solution of the cutter and also the construction of the used tool for the area of trimming sheet metal and creating qualitatively more suitable cutting surfaces. The goal of the contribution was the design of a tool for the application of sheet metal trimming.

    Vplyv Sr, Zr a Mo na vybrané vlastnosti AlSi5Cu2Mg zliatiny

    Hypoeutectic AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy is a relatively new alloy that finds application in the production of high stress cylinder head castings. This work focuses on the investigation of the solubility of the additive elements Sr, Zr, and Mo in AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy. The main objective of the work was to characterize the influence of the additive elements on selected properties of the experimental alloy AlSi5Cu2Mg with respect to the melting method of the additive elements. The additive elements Sr, Zr, and Mo were introduced into the melt in the form of AlSr10, AlZr20, and AlMo10 master alloys were melted in 2 ways in an electric resistance furnace and an electric induction furnace. Depending on the melting method, the experimental alloys were designated Sr-Z, Zr-Z, Mo-Z (electric resistance furnace), and Sr-I, Zr-I, and Mo-I (electric induction furnace). The results showed that the presence of Sr, Zr, and Mo in the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy led to a negative increase in the area fraction of porosity and a decrease in the physical properties, regardless of the melting method of the master alloys. Based on the summarized results, it was shown that the experimental alloys Sr-I, and Sr-Z did not show a significant increase in mechanical properties. A negative effect on the selected mechanical properties was noted by the experimental alloy Zr-Z. The most favourable combination of mechanical properties was obtained by the experimental alloys Mo-I and Zr-I.

    Tvárnenie skla v jednoduchom tvárniacom nástroji

    The contribution presents the analysis and issues of glass forming in a forming tool with external heating. The necessary theoretical knowledge and properties of glass, which are necessary for solving the design of the forming tool, are listed. technological methods of glass forming are mainly press-blowing and forming with a double-blowing system. With the help of the described tool, glass can be relatively successfully shaped, which is inserted into the tool in the shape of a plate. The glass plate, which is bent into a cylindrical or hemispherical shape, is placed on the press and heated with a flame until the glass is sufficiently soft to work with.
