| dc.description.abstract | The paper summarizes the evaluation results of the basic driving dynamics characteristics of firefighting vehicles measured during off-road driving. The tests were conducted on two training polygons with different terrain elevation profiles and surface types. The first series of tests took place at the Pánov Natural Monument polygon in the Hodonín district, while the second was carried out at the Březina Military District in the Vyškov district. Fire trucks built on TATRA and SCANIA chassis were tested. The evaluation focused on average driving speed as well as longitudinal and lateral acceleration. | |
