dc.description.abstractThe article focuses on the construction of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capabilities, inspired by the American military aircraft V22 Osprey. The main goal of the paper is to design and construct the UAV using software control based on the "virtual swashplate" concept. The paper covers the design, construction, testing, and evaluation of the UAV, including a control system based on a PID control system. Individual chapters are dedicated to the initial design of the UAV, wing construction, main rotor, "virtual swashplate" software solution, control system, and finally, testing and evaluation of the constructed UAV. The paper provides a comprehensive overview of the design, construction, and testing process of a VTOL UAV, focusing on the use of software control and innovative technological solutions.
