dc.description.abstractDigitalization is becoming an increasingly common part of human lives and societies today. It is also slowly interfering in every process of companies to increase their efficiency and competitiveness. This thesis is specifically intended for air transport, in which it is focused on analyzing the effects of digitalization on employment. The first part of the thesis defines digitalization, digital technologies and characteristics of the labor market, along with employee satisfaction. The analysis of the current state is part of the second part of the thesis, which deals with current digital technologies and how they affect employees, and current employment trends, i.e. what measures companies are taking to improve employment in the workplace. The results of the thesis identify the impacts of digitalization on individual job positions, various positive and negative impacts on the labor market, and finally, recommendations are provided for better integration of digitalization. With these findings, the thesis achieved the desired goal of analyzing the impact of digitalization on employment in the field of air transport.
