Abstract
Time availability is one of the qualitative characteristics that are required for the
universal postal service. The article aims to use statistical methods to determine the
confidence interval for the average customer´s waiting time at the postal counter and the
verification of compliance with the standards of the time availability of postal services
specified in the “Requirements for the quality of postal services”.
