Item Accompanying phenomena during casting of aluminium alloys(University of Žilina, 2023) Galčík, Marek; Brůna, Marek; Medňanský, MartinAn oxide layer is formed on the surface of a molten aluminium alloy when it is exposed to the surrounding atmosphere. The oxide layer on the surface of the melt is not harmful. The problem occurs when it is entrained into the melt volume and solidifies in the casting. The paper deals with the formation of the oxide layer, its types and the formation of a double oxide layers.Item Analýza pozdĺžneho zaťaženia kontajnera so stenami vyrobenými zo sendvičových panelov(University of Žilina, 2023) Vatulia, Glib; Gerlici, Juraj; Lovska, Alyona; Krasnokutskyi, YevhenThe article presents the results of determining the longitudinal dynamic load of a container of standard size 1CC with sandwich panel walls. A mathematical model was developed that takes into account the longitudinal load of a container placed on a platform wagon during a displacement collision. The use of sandwich containers as components was found to contribute 10 % to the active container design in the longitudinal plane compared to the typical design. A calculation of the strength of the container was carried out. At the same time, the maximum voltages are 18.6 % lower than permissible. Conducted research in preparation for the creation of recommendations for the design of modern modular vehicle structures and increasing the production of the transport industryItem Corrosion behavior of the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy with varying Zr addition(University of Žilina, 2023) Širanec, LukášThe aim of this paper was to analyze the impact of varying zirconium additions (0.05; 0.10; 0.15 and 0.20 wt. % Zr) on corrosion behavior of the AlSi5Cu2Mg aluminum alloy. Potentiodynamic polarization corrosion tests in 3.5 % NaCl solution demonstrated that the addition of Zr improved the thermodynamic corrosion stability of the AlSi5Cu2Mg alloy by shifting the corrosion potential to more positive values for all as-cast samples. The addition of Zr to the as-cast alloys also improved corrosion kinetics by lowering the corrosion current density.Item Dodatočné spracovanie spekaných materiálov(University of Žilina, 2023) Kantoríková, ElenaPowder metallurgy is a method of producing materials and products with required properties and required exact shapes. Topological optimization and generative design were some of these advancements. The process of topology optimization was explained in the following chapters. Each step is broken down into a paragraph, where it is explained and illustrated with a picture. In a SolidWorks program, topology optimization is detailed step-by-step. The last part, which lays out the subsequent approach and other possibilities, summarizes the benefits and drawbacks of this software's approach.Item Lean management, lean principles, lean manufacturing(University of Žilina, 2023) Litvaj, IvanMy article is focused on one main topic, the topic of lean management. I define lean management, and its meaning in business practice, further I describe the principles of lean management and lean production.Item Manévrovateľnosť a stabilita pohybu kĺbového autobusu, systém HST(University of Žilina, 2023) Sakhno, Volodymyr; Gerlici, Juraj; Kravchenko, Oleksandr; Poljakov, Viktor; Chovcha, Iryna; Dižo, JánThe mathematical model of a hinged-rear bus with a system of turning a hook-and-loop section for a dynamic way of turning is broken down. For the developed model, indicators of manoeuvrability and stability of the bus were appointed. The input of the design parameters of the bus and the trailer, the transfer ratio of the control drive and the magnitude of the galvanic moment to the indicators of the manoeuvrability of the bus are analysed. On the basis of the results, in the analysis of the rational values of the gear ratios, which ensure the proximity of the trajectories of the characteristic points of the bus and the trailer, the value of the gear ratio of 0.85 was selected, which ensures the minimum value of the RMK.Item Návrh programu pre automatické vyhodnotenie obrazu výtlačku zosnímaného CCD kamerou(University of Žilina, 2023) Pijáková, Katarína; Štalmach, Ondrej; Sága, Milan; Vaško, MilanThe aim is to create a program for the automatic evaluation of hardness from a series of images taken by a CCD camera. We will present the different functions of the proposed program. In the first step, we created an algorithm that selects the image with the most suitable sharpness from a series of images of different sharpness. In the second step, we created an algorithm that evaluated the imprint area on the selected image, from which it computed the resulting hardness. We then incorporate the algorithms into a single resulting program. These are analysed from the perspective of functions, locations, divisions and aeromechanics. It operates on a principle different from that of conventional speed changers. Harmonic drive products are unique precision speed reducers playing important roles in robots, semiconductor manufacturing systems, factory automation equipment and furthermore, in aerospace equipment that may convey our human dreams.Item Štruktúra hliníkových zliatin pre vysokotlakové odlievanie(University of Žilina, 2023) Medňanský, Martin; Brůna, Marek; Matejka, MarekThe aim of the presented paper was to carry out a review of the internal structure of alloys used for high pressure die casting (HPDC) and to experimentally perform a structural analysis of AlSi9Cu3(Fe) alloy. Several castings with varying casting parameter – maximum plunger speed vmax were cast. In pre-selected critical locations, a change in porosity was observed with the change of the speed, and the casting samples with vmax = 2 and 3 m∙s-1 showed the lowest porosity. The effect of vmax was also observed on the shape and size of the structural components, where at higher vmax the eutectic Si grew in length and decreased in thickness. EDS analysis determined found intermetallic phases to be α-Al(Fe,Mn,Cr)Si in the shape of a rhombic dodecahedron with sizes as small as 2 µm and Al2Cu occurring in both modifications – oblong grains and globular ternary eutectic.Item Technológ - celé číslo 1/2023(University of Žilina, 2023)Item Tvárnenie v hydraulickom prostredí explóziou(University of Žilina, 2023) Moravec, JánThe article describes and analyses the issue of explosive sheet metal forming in a hydro environment. In the introductory part, the necessary theoretical and technological knowledge is presented, which is necessary as a theoretical introduction to the issue. The explosion process in a liquid environment is described. The reflection from the surface and bottom of the tank used in the experiment is important. The paper only offers a view of the theoretical side of the process, because the legislative framework does not yet allow direct experimental work to be carried out, which must be done by a certified specialist in the handling of explosives.Item Using the cold metal transfer (CMT) method for wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) applications(University of Žilina, 2023) Frátrik, Martin; Mičian, MilošThis work deals with the possibilities of applying the MAG-CMT welding method for the purpose of wire arc additive manufacturing (WAAM). The WAAM method was operated using an industrial robot and welding device for MAG welding. The aim of the work was to compare three methods of laying layers in order to assess their mutual mixing. Cross-shaped perpendicular walls that were mutually connected as of the welded component were assessed. The geometry, macrostructure, and total operating costs of individual variants were evaluated. The manufacturing process of gear wheels depends mainly on the required properties and the choice of material. Less expensive methods can be used for gears where the load is minimal and high precision is not required. Such methods include, for example, the production of plastic wheels by injection into molds or additive manufacturing. Today, additive technologies are being used more and more, which, among other things, are also used to produce gears. People transport themselves to the work, to the school, to shops and other by bicycles. Bicycles represent quite effective transport means regarding to production of gas emissions, noise emissions together with better possibilities to leave them near to wanted facilitates. However, bicycles are suitable for recreations. Currently, trips to nature are very popular. For safe cycling, it is appropriate to use a proper bicycle. There are terrain bicycles, which have the design customized for riding in the heavy-road conditions. This article includes an introduction to the topic of design modern terrain bicycles, their main types and description of their basic characteristics.
