DETEKCIA A PREDIKCIA HROZBY NÁMRAZY NA ZÁKLADE ANALÝZY POVETERNOSTNEJ SITUÁCIE A SPRÁV O POČASÍ NA LETISKU ŽILINA
(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Fodor, Pavol; Jarošová, Miriam
The aim of the paper was to introduce the issue of icing as a dangerous phenomenon in aviation, its effect and impact on the safety of air transport and to approach this dangerous phenomenon in terms of aviation meteorology. We also paid considerable interest to air accidents caused by icing. However, we primarily focused on the description of the different types of icing, its division and occurrence of icing throughout various weather situations. In addition, we paid attention to classify and evaluate the occurrence of the icing on a specific weather situation, which made it possible to effectively predict the occurrence, origin or intensity of icing. We have also introduced the current state of icing prediction and prevention of flight into meteorological conditions with danger of icing.

POROVNANIE MOŽNOSTÍ VYUŽITIA VYBRANÝCH AWOS SYSTÉMOV A ICH MANUÁLOV
(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Krajčo, Tomáš; Jarošová, Miriam
The goal of this paper is to create a recommendation, which will contain information about which AWOS system is more appropriate to use based on a comparison of individual sensors and subsystems used in selected AWOS systems. The comparison, which results in a recommendation, will focus on technical parameters, limitations to monitor meteorological phenomena and the comprehensibility and complexity of data sheets and manuals, while the resulting recommendation also takes into account the recommendations of individual sensors and subsystems. Due to the complexity of the thesis, it was necessary to set additional objectives, the purpose of which was to provide information about aeronautical meteorology and meteorology as such, basic terms of meteorology, measurements performed by AWOS systems along with basic information about these systems.

VÝSTUPY DOSTUPNÝCH NUMERICKÝCH PREDPOVEDNÝCH MODELOV AKO ÚČINNÝ NÁSTROJ PREDIKCIE POVETERNOSTNÝCH PODMIENOK PRE LET
(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Pajdlhauser, Matej; Jarošová, Miriam
The objective of this paper is to point out knowledge about numerical forecasting models and meteorological aerodrome reports METAR. Another goal is to observe meteorological phenomena, such as the crossing of fronts through our territory and inversion, because they have a significant impact on air traffic. The last goal is to determine the success of weather forecasts of the numerical forecasting model Aladin. To obtain adequate knowledge for the elaboration of the bachelor thesis, available electronic and book resources were used, which were used for self-study. The whole thesis was prepared under the supervision of the bachelor thesis supervisor. The core of this thesis is theoretical knowledge about the problem and observations, which use the freely available outputs of the numerical forecasting model Aladin, meteorological aerodrome reports METAR and maps of the ground pressure field. The success of weather forecasts using the numerical forecasting model Aladin was also evaluated. While examining the accuracy of predictions of the numerical forecasting model Aladin was found that the success rate is relatively high. It follows that this model can be used as a tool to predict weather conditions for flight.

VPLYV LETECKEJ DOPRAVY NA ŽIVOTNÉ PROSTREDIE
(Žilinská univerzita v Žiline, 2020) Turkinevych, Yelyzaveta; Jarošová, Miriam
The relevance of the topic is due to the fact that in the transport sector, the aviation industry is one of the sources of global warming and climate change. The average number of flights worldwide is up to 102,465 per day, and this number is constantly growing, which has a major impact on the climate. Climate change is currently a huge problem, global warming is evident and unquestionable. It follows that our effort to conquer nature is a great threat to all of humanity. The aim of this work was to analyze the impact of air transport on the environment from several perspectives. The work is divided into three parts. The first chapter describes the historical development of the issue in the world. The second chapter deals with the analysis of global warming and destabilizing environmental factors. There are descrribed different types of ecological pollution. The last third part discusses ways to minimize the impact of aviation on the environment.
