Item Aplikácie difúzie v strojárskej výrobe(University of Žilina, 2023) Jaššo, Martin; Pastirčák, RichardThis thesis aims to explain the nature of the diffusion process and the importance of this process in the field of engineering production. The thesis contains information on the principles and mechanisms by which diffusion takes place, as well as on the environmental influences and factors that directly affect this process. The thesis concludes with a description of selected manufacturing and surface treatment processes used in mechanical engineering, the principal basis of which is diffusion.Item Aplikačné možnosti HCCI technológie(University of Žilina, 2023) Lavčák, Matúš; Puškár, MichalThis text describes the current state of the art of HCCI technology, which is based on combining the characteristics of a petrol and diesel engine. HCCI engines offer higher fuel efficiency and lower nitrogen oxide emissions. However, they also have disadvantages such as limited load range, control complexity and cold weather starting problems. The next section of the text discusses hybrid propulsion, which uses a combination of an internal combustion engine and an electric motor. It describes the different types of hybrid powertrains such as soft hybrids, plug-in hybrids and full hybrids. Explains their advantages and possible applications. A solution is then proposed where the HCCI engine would serve as a generator in a series hybrid vehicle with an electric motor. Such an arrangement allows optimization of energy use and reduction of emissions. Finally, the relevance of HCCI technology for improving the efficiency of fuel engines and hybrid vehicle design is evaluated.Item Evaluation of new trends and reasons for attendance artificial intelligence at the operational level(University of Žilina, 2023) Biňasová, Vladimíra; Bubeník, Peter; Rakyta, Miroslav; Kasajová, Marta; Štaffenová, KatarínaThe contribution is focused on the analysis of the current state of the introduction of artificial intelligence in enterprises in Slovakia. Here are also the results of a questionnaire survey aimed at finding out what the participating small and medium-sized enterprises mean by the term digitization, whether they use it and consider it important. The questionnaire also investigated whether companies are familiar with the national strategies of Industry 4.0 or how they see the service provision and financing system in this context. The conclusion of the article is devoted to the evaluation of new trends and reasons for the emergence of artificial intelligence.Item Evaluation of the possibilities of use of interactive technology in the laboratory(University of Žilina, 2023) Biňasová, Vladimíra; Bubeník, Peter; Rakyta, Miroslav; Kasajová, Marta; Štaffenová, KatarínaThe goal of the contribution was to propose the possibilities of using interactive technology in the laboratory and to create a creative and interesting environment for students. One of the benefits is facilitating and streamlining the learning process and developing students' creativity. Interactive hardware (interactive whiteboard) and software (multimedia systems) were used to solve the work. The conclusion of the work consists of an evaluation of the benefits of using the interactive whiteboard in the laboratory.Item Konštrukčný návrh rámu korby pre jednonápravový príves za traktor(University of Žilina, 2023) Dižo, Ján; Blatnický, Miroslav; Ishchuk, Vadym; Molnár, Denis; Kurtulík, JakubThis article is focused on the results of the research, which is intended to design of a single-axle tipping tractor trailer. The trailer consists of two main parts, a frame and a superstructure. Both parts of the trailer must undergo strength analyses under determined loading conditions. While results of strength analyses of the frame were already presented on the previous event, this work shows an overview of the strength analysis of the tipping superstructure of the trailer. The structure has been analysed under static loads and dynamical effects have been considered by means of a dynamic coefficient. The task has been performed by application of the Finite Element Method (FEM). Some chosen load cases have been analysed and the distribution of stresses in the structure has been evaluated. Results have shown that the designed structure of the tipping superstructure is able to withstand the given loads and it can be used in practice.Item Matematický model pohonnej sústavy koľajového vozidla(University of Žilina, 2023) Dižo, Ján; Blatnický, Miroslav; Ishchuk, Vadym; Molnár, Denis; Solčanský, SebastiánThe presented research is aimed at the derivation of a mathematical model of diesel-mechanical drivetrain of a rail vehicle. It is derived by means of the Lagrange’s equations of the second kind. The derived mathematical model allows to understand the essential principle of the derivation of the mathematical model of the diesel-mechanical drivetrain of a rail vehicle, an application of the numerical mathematical methods for the solving the equations of motion and for evaluation of the wanted outputs quantities, such as waveforms of revolutions and torques of shafts and others.Item Opotrebovanie strižníkov v strihacom nástroji(University of Žilina, 2023) Moravec, JánThe paper describes the issue of wear of shears in shearing tools. It is pointed out to theoretical knowledge from the issue and also in experimental, or the practical part contains specific knowledge about the wear of the active surfaces of shearers.Item Porovnanie charakteristík tvárniteľnosti vysokopevných dvojfázových ocelí skúškou ťahom a LDH skúškou(University of Žilina, 2023) Tomáš, Miroslav; Kulya, Juliy Martyn; Kokarda, Vladimír; Evin, EmilThe paper deals with the issue of formability evaluation of high-strength dual phase steels DP800 and DP1000 with a thickness of 1.6 mm. These steels are used for automotive body deformation zones. The material formability was evaluated by tensile testing with evaluation of mechanical properties, normal anisotropy ratio and strain hardening exponent. The process formability of steels was evaluated by LDH test, which is used for different deformation states modelled by the specimen width. The results of the LDH parameter achieved were correlated with the measured material formability parameters.Item Stratégie frézovania tenkostenných komponentov z ťažkoobrobiteľného materiálu(University of Žilina, 2023) Hrbál, Jakub; Vozár, Marek; Pätoprstý, Boris; Buranský, IvanThe paper deals with the issue of the influence of machining strategies and tool parameters on the quality of the machined surface of thin-walled parts made by WAAM technology. The current state of machining thin walled parts is complemented by utting tools in terms of materials, geometry, and tool wear. From the point of view of surface integrity, the roughness and flatness of machined thin-walled parts made of Inconel 718 nickel alloy material will be observed. The machining strategy and cutting tool geometry were designed by experimental machining. The results of the experiment are presented in the conclusion. Achieved experimental results are a contribution to the efforts to expand the knowledge on the topic of machining thin-walled parts.Item Item Vplyv vysokej prevádzkovej teploty na funkčnosť ložísk(University of Žilina, 2023) Kantoríková, ElenaRolling bearings are among the most important parts of machines and equipment. Many malfunctions in operation can be prevented by the correct choice of bearing, regular inspection and maintenance. The failure rate of the bearing is affected by many factors such as inappropriate storage, incorrect assembly, intrusion of foreign particles into the bearing spaces, inappropriately selected lubricant, or incorrect handling, transportation, etc. If damage or other deficiencies occur in rolling bearings, it is important to determine the cause of the damage so that appropriate measures can be taken to prevent their recurrence. Incipient damage to the bearing is reflected in the operation of the bearing, usually by a rise in temperature, or an increase in noise and stronger vibrations.
