    The article deals with the issue of metal processing by hot forming, in this case by forging. The text points out the supporting facts that influence the possibility of applying combined open and drop forging. This technology will become a good way to achieve optimal results. The theoretical and practical aspects of the analysed process are pointed out. One solution to produce a forging by combined open and drop forging is presented.

    In the paper, the theoretical part presents the issue of metal cutting. The experimental part deals with the investigation of the influence of temperature during the application of heating. the text of the paper is supplemented by a discussion and at the end of the paper there is an evaluation of the obtained results. The contribution appropriately and well complements a wide range of sheet metal cutting problems.

    Konštrukčná úprava strižných hrán

    The contribution is devoted to geometrical questions related to the issue of adjusting the active parts of the cutting tool. There are three modifications of the cutters: With the blade beveled inward and bevelled outward, the blades formed by the intersection of two cylinders. The necessary schemes of these solutions and the necessary mathematical relations are published.

    Aplikácia solenoidu pri magnetickom tvárnení

    In the contribution, the theoretical part points out the known starting points for calculating the inductance of a long cylindrical coil. In the practical part, the method of application of magnetic forming in the production of tins in lead samples is presented. The results confirm the correctness of the hypothesis.

    Magnetic forming with heat in a magnetic field

    The article focuses on the application of a magnetic field in the forming of low-carbon steel castings. The original solution of the forming device, which was used in the experimental works, is presented. The results of the experimental works confirmed the suitability of its use for the mentioned work.

    Tvárnenie skla v jednoduchom tvárniacom nástroji

    The contribution presents the analysis and issues of glass forming in a forming tool with external heating. The necessary theoretical knowledge and properties of glass, which are necessary for solving the design of the forming tool, are listed. technological methods of glass forming are mainly press-blowing and forming with a double-blowing system. With the help of the described tool, glass can be relatively successfully shaped, which is inserted into the tool in the shape of a plate. The glass plate, which is bent into a cylindrical or hemispherical shape, is placed on the press and heated with a flame until the glass is sufficiently soft to work with.
